Contesting Rules
- Carni Body or Corpse Contests: Carnivores can contest for claimed food sources by 3 calling from 2 body lengths away to initiate a challenge. They must wait 5 seconds to wait for a call reply or other action:
- A 3 call is considered a challenge and a fight can begin.
- A contest must end with a body down or a 4 call.
- If the carnivore starts eating from a body or continues eating from the body for 2 more seconds, the contestant can initiate an attack.
- Pachycephalosaurus do not need to be contested off their body by mid tier or above. Instead, carnivores can 3 call them and the Pachy(s)must give up their body or risk being attacked
- Scavenger species do not need to be contested off their body by sub-apex or apex. Instead, those tiers can 3 call them and the scavenger species must give up their body or risk being attacked
- Eating from the body during a body contest is allowed; it is up to both involved parties to protect the food source
- Herbie Food Contests: All herbivores can contest for claimed food sources by 3 calling from 2 body lengths away to initiate a challenge. They must wait 5 seconds to wait for a call reply or other action:
- A 3 call is considered a challenge and a fight can begin.
- Herbivore contests should not end in a death and 4 call out of the fight before death occurs.
- If one herbivore starts showing heavy bodily scarring (25%), they automatically forfeit the fight.
