in-game RULES

1.  Follow Species Profiles and act within Realism to the best of your ability. There is wiggle room for characters personalities and histories, but if you're asked to curb a behavior because it is not realistic, you are expected to do so 
   1.  You must assume the selected gender of your species. This means you may not nest, or take gender-specific spots of a group opposite than that of your character selected gender. 
2. Location dropping other players is not allowed. You can announce your own location, but you may not location drop others by proxy. (i.e I’m the Dasp at SLL next to the Amarg herd is not allowed. I’m the Dasp at SLL is allowed).
3.  Mix-packing is not allowed (Except Deinonychus/Latenivenatrix). There are allowances for mix-grouping between select herbivore species which can be found in their profiles under Optional Behavior. 
4. Mix Grouped Herbivores may not defend other species.
5. KOS / KFS (Kill on Sight, Kill for Sport) is not allowed on this server. This includes killing with a body down already and hunting when you are not hungry enough.
6. Use of loopholes, gray areas, or game exploits are prohibited and taken very seriously. Staff reserve all rights to decide what is an abuse of our rules. This includes:
   1. Stripping a body to make it decay faster
   2. Abusing collision boxes
   3. Meshing to any extent (i.e putting your head through a log wall to bite what’s inside)
   4. Combat logging is considered a loophole to avoid being hunted and is a serious offense
   5. Giving Yourself Marks on Teutonia
7. Personal Space can be protected by each individual. It is defined as a maximum 1.5 of your species’ body length.  No warning is needed to protect your personal space. 
   1. Purposefully invading a dinosaurs personal space to provoke a fight is not allowed
   2. You cannot walk next to another dinosaur and then claim that as your own personal space; they were there first
   3. Allowing dinosaurs into your personal space unrealistically is not tolerated
8. Revenge killing, metagaming, and targeting are serious offenses. This may include:
   1. Dying to a player and logging into another dinosaur to claim your own body
   2. Being killed by a player and coming back on another dinosaur to kill that specific player
   3. Always seeking or going after the same player
   4. Grouping with a player with the intent to locate them and hunt them
9. Carebearing is not allowed in any form. If you are not grouped with the dinosaur, you may not help them do any of the following:
   1. Finding or providing food in any form (i.e showing where a bush is, catching a fish, bringing to a spawn corpse)
   2. Protecting an ungrouped member
   3. Asking a player to 3 call you from a body
10. Body Denial is not tolerated. This includes the following:
    1. Purposefully drowning in a body of water when being hunted by terrestrial predators
    2. Bleeding out in the water when being hunted by terrestrial predators
    3. Throwing yourself off or into terrain and dying where the hunting predator cannot eat from your corpse
    4. Purposefully dying in a berry bush or on top of quest items to where the hunters cannot eat your body.
11. Using water to your advantage is allowed.
    1. Standing in water that you can stand in but is too deep for the predators is fine
    2. Swimming to be safe or to cross the water source is allowed
    3. Using water during any contest is not allowed unless you are a semi-aquatic
12. Nesting is a feature on the server! It is done at the soonest admin availability. Do not rush or ping admins to speed up the process. In order to get started with nesting, you need the following: 
    1. 2 Adult, Male and Female required Location to nest Create a ticket and fill out the format provided Spend 5k marks to get your nest decorated! Otherwise you just get a nest placed. 

       11. No hunting or contesting at the 5 minute restart timer. This is to avoid waste of                                 .            food and unnecessary death of players.

                 1.   Any fights that began before the timer may continue as normal
