 South of Greenfield, one of the largest Sarcosuchus nesting grounds in Teutonia explodes with life. The beaches during this particular time of the year are covered in broody Sarcosuchus and their nests. The large beasts are especially irate during this time, their mind purely on the objective to successfully hatch their clutch. This means they will be particularly testy even towards other Sarcosuchus, snapping at one another often and disputes over nesting locations.

As time passes, the small sound of high pitched calls can be heard erupting from beneath the now sand-covered nests. This is the sound of new lives emerging from their eggs, and the first few chirps are far from the amount that will be heard as more eggs begin to hatch.

But there are unwelcome guests patrolling the beaches just outside the protective reach of the now more so defensive adults. The hatchling Sarcosuchus are ignorant to the hungry, eager eyes that have been awaiting this moment. Like clockwork, as the Sarcosuchus begin their nesting ventures for the year, the Deinonychus and Latenivenatrix gather in large numbers to await the feast that will present itself. They know the abundance of Sarcosuchus spawn cannot be all guarded by the adults, and they consider any risk well worth the prize.

Event Overview

The premise of this event is to simulate the interaction that hatching Sea Turtles have with the various waiting predators such as crabs, seagulls and more opportunistic predators. 

All that we ask is that players are not sticking around on large carnivores (especially those in a larger pack such as a group of Allosaurus) that would not benefit from a small meal like a hatchling Sarcosuchus or the small raptors. This is not realistic beyond them stopping by to grab a few easy snacks and moving on to larger prey to sustain the calorie intake they require.

Event Rules & Information

• Sarcosuchus will begin by traveling to this location (there are no Teleports) before the event and working on finding suitable partners to pair with for nesting.
• They will claim a nest as a pair and fiercely protect it from other Sarcosuchus and the eager predators.
• Normal nesting procedure will be required for the event - i.e making a ticket once we announce that nesting can begin for the event.
• Before nesting is announced, Sarcosuchus pairs can fight for the more favorable and safe nesting spots for their young to have the best chance to reach the water.
• Normal group limits and rules apply, and no Sarcosuchus can protect another ungrouped from being attacked. Their goal is to protect their own nest and young only.
• Larger predators including all Sub-Apex+, Allosaurus, and then grouped all other Mid-Tiers will not be allowed to linger beyond a couple of meals from the event. They are larger and will not want to risk the dangers of the adult Sarcosuchus for the amount of food that hatchling Sarcos give. Megalania are the only mid tiers that can stick around if they are in groups of 3 or below.
• Baby Sarcosuchus that are killed can be teleported back to the event - deaths WILL occur during this event - it is not a growth event, it is a realism event.
